International trade is not a zero-sum game, and the import bans can hurt Australia. But to some extent, let's remember that if China no longer buys iron ore or coal or agricultural products from Australia, China will buy them somewhere else, opening up markets for Australia to sell into. This is a theoretical argument, of course, but it bears keeping in mind.
