Thanks Patrick. We're all in this together ... at least the 99.99 percent of us. Resigned from a tenured position in protest 7 years ago, now just a public school teaching assistant ... and I go under the knife for a thyroid gland operation in a couple of months. Approaching 67, if the pathologist says it is cancerous, I'm prepared to crack a smile at that too. Authoritarians and personal disaster alike, are allergic to laughter.
