Those of you in Washington should be interested to hear that I called the state superintendent's office this afternoon, after news of the vote. The woman I talked with did not expect a vaccine requirement for schoolkids anytime before fall 2023. This is because regular authorization of the vaccine(s) would be needed first, and there would then need to be a policy process that includes hearings and public comment on any proposed requirement.
