P.S. If you do the hard work of learning this new idea, you would find that people don't "choose" debt. (That is a Calvinist judgment and blames the victim.) The economic system in the US-centric empire pushes people into debt. It's designed to do that. Sure, you can walk away from debt. You can throw the keys to the house and the car to the bank. And then what? It's not as easy as saying that all you lost was your credit rating. YOU WILL BE HOMELESS, without even a car to live in. And if you think that you can ignore the contumely of other people, try homelessness to convince yourself that it doesn't work like that.
