Yes, this is my reading too, the 者 referring to XJP himself (The Big Important One of the Country"). But I've also been reflecting through reading that perhaps there is also broader room to apply this to Xi + all people in his lead? As in, can we also read this as the 者/people of the "Greatness of the Nation/Great Nation under Xi"? I'm curious if this last interpretation is too much of a stretch?
