The U.S. empire is going to fall a lot faster than Rome's dynasty did. We might "fall" as fast as the Soviet Union did. Two decades ago I rememberer reading a quote of some Soviet general who predicted one day America would break up into several countries. I laughed at the time. Now I think that guy might have been prescient. When EVERY leader and key organization is not to be trusted what do we think is going to happen? The same thing that happened to the Soviet Union or Rome.
