we had the repeated "surges" in afganistan: failed. we have the repeated rounds of quantitative easing: failed. We have the incessant efforts to fight a "war" on drug: failed ( Overdoses keep going up). WE have this effort to reduce health care costs: failed. Why would ANYONE believe for a second that gov efforts to defeat a virus would be successful? Its disappointing to me ( an understatement) that so many Americans are so gullible
