Today’s WaPo board opines on how to get Israel and the US on the same page, as if they haven’t been “doing it on the paper” for 75 years. Why does the Ed Board want them on the same page? No surprise though. Here’s a comment on the relentless pro-Israel propaganda.

“Israel continues to take money from the U.S. to commit crimes and to hoard. It does so , having per cap foreign reserves greater than China, Germany, France, the US, and Canada combined. Its reserves are even greater than Croesus-rich Norway. Yet cadging, begging and finagling.

Its spy, Jonathan Pollard was the most damaging spy in US history.

It sank the USS Liberty, perhaps knowingly.

The US spent $8 trillion on the war on terror. Ignited by Israel.

This comes to more than 3x the personal worth of the median American.

It lies about nearly everything.

It has ruined US cred at the UN and created a billion enemies, squandering invaluable US goodwill earned from decades of genuine foreign aid.

The choices were those of people like those on the Ed Board. But not of the taxpayers.

This serial outrage has to stop.”
