Thanks for The Pedestrian review- Ray Bradbury caught

the present zeitgeist in the USA in his story written over 70 years ago.A female professor casually walking the streets was forcibly restrained in an illegal manner - a green card holder and professor at an American college she had written an article supporting Palestine snd for that was detained in a New England state then flown to a Louisiana holding prison awaiting deportation. this is not a scenario that should have happened without her being afforded due process. This is a chilling event that requires push back - does free speech exist any longer in the USA - can it be cancelled - if memory serves me JD Vance railed how a protester was treated - arrested and fined- for protesting silently in prayer outside an abortion clinic in Great Britain during a recent speech in Germany; but apparently protesting wholesale genocide in Israel against Palestinians in America is not allowed and draconian methods are implemented to prevent it aimed right now at foreign students or green card holders but we, the citizens of the USA, could be next. Where is my constitutional protection?
