My school had me start to teach economics. After much reading, it didn't take me long to conclude that I like free markets, and free markets are the opposite of monopolies and oligopolies. So, I ended up seeing monopolists & oligopolists as sneakier dictators, while communist dictators were just a lot more up front about who to kill.
I want small, local, free communities with autonomy. I found myself opposing centralization, like Russell Brand, who is supposedly on the left. But I overlapped with any number on the right that I saw the same way. I hesitate to say their names at risk of making this post about philosophy turn into a debate over the merits of individuals.
