CFIUS is still in its infancy in many ways. The number of deals that have been submitted for review in recent years is almost laughably low. Canada, UK, and Australia deals are the only ones that don't need to be reported. But I understand that CFIUS has more resources and is getting better at identifying deals that should have been reported and reviewed.
