As you said, AI is controlled by those who program it. Who exactly is going to give that power to "the people" and how will that happen? The answer is it will not and AI will be used to make human health even worse, but deep down you already know that. The drug companies will control the algorithms because they have the money to do so. "The people" will be pharmed like animals to juice profits of drug companies. At least with human doctors treating patients there is a chance for brave dissident physicians to emerge (as they did during Covid) to treat patients instead of following the mindless murderous algorithms of the "experts." AI will be the death knell of medicine and anybody who is unfortunate enough to fall into its control.
