I will quibble about chefs. I was professionally trained by some extremely accomplished women. But those women don't seek the hype. They are more involved with establishing the business/brand than grandstanding like a fucking ape (sorry, but the culture of self-aggranizement in male chefs produces a lot of hot shots and misfires as well as Gordon Ramseys. I found my niche because a lot of the hotshot boys can't be arsed to have the discipline to bake). The men get the attention because they show off, but there are some very influential and disciplined women in all of the fields you mentioned.
