I saw this 30 years ago when they started to hire MBA's to run restaurants. You suddenly went from building house made lasagne to reheating stauffer's because it saved money somewhere...and then the restaurant would close because of lack of business...but just try to tell people it was because of the shitty, generic food and not some other 'market' reason.
