I've been asking this question forever, it seems, i.e., "How do we know the severity is less? What is the standard against which we're measuring, how are we measuring, and on what kinds of test groups and control groups?" Not only haven't I gotten any answers, but I haven't even been able to get anyone to take the questions seriously -- or maybe to understand them.
