I've read RFK's book, and I have to caution everyone to be careful of some of his claims. Check his documentation carefully. Some of his sources are questionable, and some don't even support what he's talking about. Also watch out for the way he slants his descriptions with derogatory modifiers for people he doesn't like and positive modifiers for people who agree with him. He also contradicts himself in different parts of the book. One of these days I might write a review article about all the problems I found, but (1) I doubt whether anyone would publish it, and (2) I'd be handicapped by not being able to track down many of the things I remember because (2a) THERE IS NO INDEX, and (2b) after a while I ran out of page flags to mark the questionable passages.
