I was in the car one day, and an advert came on for an LVAD. This is a Left Ventricle Assistance Device for heart failure patients. I only knew this from some crazy episodes of Grey's Anatomy back in the day. Am I supposed to demand an LVAD from my doctor, because I heard an ad on the radio? Why on earth would I be recommending heart assistive device to a cardiologist? I mean, the gravity of what we unleashed really hit at that moment. I don't trust most med professionals, but it's a bridge too far to have patients demanding a type or brand of heart device with no medical training. Also, that device will probably expedite your death, LOL.

We need public financing of all elections, totally capped, with no PAC or corporate funding, 10 year bans from being hired in industries you regulated. No direct to consumer drug advertising, no mandates on any product where the manufacturer has liability protection. If they won't take the risk, we can't offload it one others. Just to get started.
