Once growth slows to under 3 percent, perhaps some significant changes will come. All these current "rectifications" appear to be smoke and mirrors; to be sure, such illusions are the stock in trade of politicians. Of course, much of what the CCP appears to have been doing these past seven or eight years seems to be self-serving distractions, with a few exceptions. I do wonder whether China will ever become a developed nation. It's not looking good for it at this time.
