but, bonnie, might the ccp not try? am I overthinking this, but I would not be surprised if in the not too distant future, the ccp passes a law similar to the hk national security law, but aimed at Taiwan. or a tightening of the secession law. so anyone saying anything which suggests that Taiwan does not belong to china would be liable to arrest.

there are over 1 million Taiwanese in china doing business etc, they would have to watch what they said and did. or Taiwanese studying abroad would be liable to an extraterritorial clause, as in the hk nsl.
