It is indeed frightening that these programs are receiving government support directly or indirectly through student grants and loans to perform work that in no way meets the standards to be included in an accredited university curriculum. When these programs were just taking root 30 to 40 years ago, their founders at least tried to give them a veneer of academic respectability (which fooled academics like me into believing that they might have legitimate academic goals); now it seems that they have become powerful enough to dispense with all pretense and boldly pursue their hate mongering.
