Abdicating her column once a year to give her retrograde brother a platform is an awful idea that I've never understood. If the little wingnut wants a column he should get his own. She could still ghost-write it for him. (I understand there's a number of openings at the WaPo… ;) )

Thank you for this piece, Prof. Krugman. As well as making explicit what I suspected, it startled me to realize how much I've missed your unvarnished and informed opinions over these past weeks. I hope you will be more than a guest at The Contrarian. There is a large audience here that recognizes how dangerous bland journalism and politicking has become in this climate.
