I apologize for the emotion. I am generally affable and mild mannered but I am not a Bulldog and you reminded of what my dog meant to mea. He was kind and gentle and enjoyed a long healthy and rewarding life he was 15 and died on my front porch after frolicking with the deer and catching a frisbee 6 feet in the air.
