Good for them. People can believe all kinds of crazy things, like the antivaxxers in substantial numbers in the U.S.

I live in HK. Life in the city is normal, at least a lot more normal than it was during the height of the protests. It has not been 'destroyed' contrary to what you seem to think (what does that even mean..?). And I'm saying this not as a fan of the CCP either.
