For format, depending on the subject of the book perhaps you could solicit members of your readership with relevant expertise to provide short commentaries (either written or spoken at the beginning of a session on a platform like Clubhouse), preferably from varied viewpoints, to open the meeting and then pose several questions such as those used for posts like these. Depending on the number of people attending, perhaps it would make sense to put people in breakout rooms to discuss further once initial commentary is completed.
