They never allowed family to visit and they proceeded to verbally and physically abuse us, among other things. Now I'm seeing this behaviour emerge in America. The first step after centralizing hospital administration and providing top-down rather than individualized care was preventing family visitation with COVID as pretext. When they isolate you they can do anything to you. Today we still have a large number of humane doctors and nurses, but that's already changing. They system destroys their humanity.
