Agreed. They're currently on a joy ride, being the authors of reality. So empowering. So liberating. Imagine being able to create our lived reality. What power. No more cowtowing to facts and evidence. It's so much easier. Infinitely less complicated. It's a deluge of simplicity, power and hubris in exchange for complexity, hard work, insecurity, anxiety and often humiliation. Are they going to give this up? If the media breaks ranks, they're done. But I think the media enjoys it also. If they can hold on to a majority of the public, they'll continue the experiment. Gato is working on the assumption that the majority of people prefer reality over a humanistic "collectivist construct". I hope and pray he's right. People ingest a lot of wildly unrealistic fictional entertainment these days. I wonder how many have the acumen and the stomach for reality.
