I get what you are saying, but I think some (many?) men in politics have been deferring to women's voices since the 70s, and I think it is time to speak about that. I know personally of a case where a woman, who was well-meaning, was the wrong person for a position in an organization, and was kept there because of chivalry. Whatever the answer, I think it is exciting to speak about these things. The suicide rate for men is especially horrifying to me.
