I actually bought Berenson's book from Amazon, after someone recommended him as a pandemic commentator. I wrote a pretty scathing review, to the effect that it was all about him and how he was the sole brave, smart voice to speak up about the whole pandemic thing (I had not heard of him before that). It is obvious that he has no medical background, and his commentary lacks the thoughtful, in-depth analysis we have come to expect here on Substack. I still subscribe - but rarely read his pieces (which seem to be treating Substack like a substitute twitter).
