That has been my take. Once you've opened wide and swallowed it would be tough to entertain any misgivings let alone dire warnings. That's how I think I would feel. And a lot of them are simply operating under an old and demonstrably failed paradigm: my doctor is the expert; I can trust my doctor.

I think that's exactly why the drastic rise in all cause mortality and young folks dying of heart attacks (I personally know a ten year old boy who died of a heart attack in 2022) gets no attention.
