If China is right, Omicron can spread with limited effects. If Western scientists who have said Omicron is as deadly as earlier versions are right, then this would be a disaster in the making. I would note that Massachusetts Covid figures came out yesterday reporting 63 deaths in the past week. PBS reported the other day 90% of Covid deaths are now in the 65+ age category.
