So is it a warning or predictive programming? I’ve heard both postulated in regards to Bertrand Russell, Aldous Huxley, and even Orwell (the latter I find impossible to accept given that every line Orwell wrote was in ardent condemnation of totalitarianism and he has done more than anyone else to awaken us to its mechanisms).
