Blackmail is always a possibility, but you don’t need to resort to that when you make deviating from Operation Lockstep such a miserable experience—anyone who does so risks their career, reputation, relationships, and even life, and the cowards running these countries don’t have the faintest semblance of courage and are mostly sociopaths so are happy to be complicit in tyranny and democide.
