His vitriolic attacks on Mike Yeadon and extensive efforts to undermine and silence Mike for providing credible testimony regarding intentionality are highly suspicious.
Whether Malone is controlled opposition or not I cannot definitively say without evidence (as per my “Maybe” philosophy: margaretannaalice.subst…), but he is serving as a gatekeeper nevertheless and is what I describe as a mainstream straddler:
Much of his behavior could be accounted for by his colossal ego and narcissism, and he makes reckless, pride-driven decisions that cause him and his reputation considerable damage, which only he is capable of repairing by demonstrating a modicum of humility, but I don’t expect him to ever do that as he failed to do so at a time when he had a golden opportunity to drop the lawsuits. I privately outlined a potential path toward redemption, but he only doubled down on his destructive (self- and otherwise) behavior.
After I published my letter to him, he canceled his paid subscription to my Stack and canceled mine to his so I can no longer comment on his posts, indicating he did not take my call for civility in the spirit in which it was offered ;-)
