As a Floridian I want to caution everyone about our presently low COVID numbers: WE WILL HAVE A WINTER WAVE OF INFECTION. The reason is that although our weather becomes more pleasant in winter, allowing more people to spend time outdoors compared to the hot summer, we have annual visitors called "snowbirds" who are fleeing the cold and many will be bringing COVID with them. It's inevitable and it's why we had a winter wave last year. It's the calm before the storm, people. NOTE: this is not an endorsement of vaccines but rather a restatement of the obvious fact: virus gonna virus.
