Agreed! When Biden won, no one credited his charisma — it was because he was clearly more competent, less corrupt, etc. etc. Yet when Clinton and Harris lost to the same candidate, somehow it was because they just weren’t likeable enough.

Interesting how such a subjective characteristic like charisma has seemed to surge in importance right around the time when women with objectively impressive resumes emerge as viable presidential candidates.

Trump won because a whole lotta voters couldn’t stand the idea of a black woman being in the Oval Office. Racism and sexism is more prevalent in this country than I wanted to believe.

👍 Agree, Karen, I thought Harris/Walz campaign was superb…it sure engaged, inspired and activated this old broad!!! Ditto my friends and extended family…we were excited by the possibilities…alas, once again too many voters sat this one out. Damn shame.
