On the subject of what to do if your friends don't care: honestly I think the best way to get through to people, Americans espeically, is to tie it back to their own life. You don't have free healthcare, afordable food and housing and education BECAUSE the government is spending so much money propping up Israel; You should be concerned about Google Microsoft and Meta ading in the genocide because the same tech is in your phone and computers. It's shitty, yes, that people can be so selfish, but thats the culture Americans are indoctrinated into. Anything to break them out of the spell, even if its for lame reasons
