There are others writing about this. Igor Chudov for one. It's definitely not just Sweden. It's definitely not a subject the authorities anywhere in the world are going to want to discuss. It simply won't be mentioned - most people have no idea how many babies are normally born as it's not something generally reported is it? Population figures are only mentioned when talking about immigration. So, unless you want a baby and fail to make one, it's not going to be a subject of interest down the pub. It will be another of those "oh dear, how sad" chats ("my friend has been trying for a baby for ages now" to go with the "my friend's friend just dropped down dead whilst out running")
