I think the Group Think topic in the US is important and needs to be explored. How best to ensure that all voices are not just heard but are seriously considered is worth some discussion. On the other side of the coin, I think we should not forget about Nationalism in China. I am sensing a resurgence as the domestic Chinese propaganda machine has revved up in recent weeks. Finally, I think there is over exuberance about the actual state of the Chinese economy. One surprisingly positive month has not resolved the serious structural economic problems that will take much time to improve. Also, there is a lot of discussion about the new leadership which seems somewhat naive as if the world is black and white. Many of the topics were discussed in November but may merit a review.
