Yes, I do find my empathy ebbing slightly for ostensibly intelligent adults, programmed by millions of years of evolution to replicate their genes, who remain unable and unwilling to seek out a modicum of now widely available information needed to make informed choices for themselves and, especially, their offspring. In an age overflowing with information, total ignorance is an active choice, not a victim-impact statement.
