Ole' Ba'al gets an undeserved bad rep due to the christians picking up the ancient jews old feud with, well pretty much everyone else and their goat for having their own gods. Sure, he ruled the storm but he was also a fertility god and we all know how stormy passions go together with fertility, eh?
