I am so sorry for your awful experience. Your story highlights to me that regardless if covid was released intentionally or if it was an accident the response to it was diabolical and I do not use that word lightly. Ignoring the technology we have available to us and just concentrating on the behaviour of the medics and the public facing health staff we could easily have been in medieval times.
