Green Creek looks to be just south of Bridgeport, no? We live in Lake Tahoe in the summer and drive to/from the desert on 395. I always have a “gato malo” with me so I can rarely stop and sightsee, unless I’m there for backpacking. It’s a 9 hour drive but I have an 8 hour cat!
