Our grandson is 4. He doesn't really talk at all and is in speech therapy. He was initially put on a waiting list. He's damaged because of masking.

As for being prone to despair, we're just waiting for loved ones to get sick and die. One has shingles he can't get rid of; another, who is elderly, had his memory loss accelerate greatly after his first shot. We're just waiting for the next shoe to drop. So yeah, I understand.
