I didn't read all of the replies to your post, Sage, but I also get the impression that Alex is not particularly enamoured with a large chunk of his readership. I get the sense many readers identify as traditional "conservatives" - a label Alex has made known does not apply to him. At least, he must feel some cognitive dissonance. It's interesting because people like Dr. Malone and Dr. Kory were, prior to Covid, definitely aligned more to the Left. While I can't speak to Dr. Kory, Dr. Malone seems to have rethought some of his political views.
