Writers like the cat, Chudov, Berenson, Malone ARE the journalists now. Mostly citizen journalists. Journalism as it was once thought to be, a counter-balance to the state, a speaker of truth to power at least now and then - that's left its old homes in newsprint and mainstream television. It's done from a sense of principle, rather than for wages.
