"The promise of ASI (a superintelligence) or AGI is false one." - maybe the case for current models as scaling alone doesn't seem to be getting there, but never? We already know that a general purpose AI can evolve with 200 trillion connections and a few million years of (extremely repetitive) training so one based on chips seems inevitable if we keep going.
