I think if you have been diagnosed as an adult with diabetes...it is generally considered to be common that it is Type II diabetes. I could be wrong, people can call me to the mat for it.
I think if I test my blood sugar, that I have peripheral neuropathy, that I lost my left leg due to diabetic cellulitis, that pretty much means I am type II diabetic.
I doubt, hope, that anyone who has not been diagnosed with diabetes would consult a doctor and not take advice on a substack comment thread as gospel.
