This was great. I've been having the same feelings of shame shading into contempt for my fellow Canadians for months now. It really is hard to pity them when they cheer for their own enslavement and smugly, self-righteously demand that everyone else do the same. With the exception of the small number of people who are fighting back, I could no longer care less what happens to Canada, and want nothing more to do with it.
