Pfizer has played sleight of hand reporting forever. For example, look back in time to this 2020 article on Lipitor (atorvastatin) and vascular events https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0735109720345484?via%3Dihub Notice on Table 1 comparing Lipitor to placebo that two categories of events combine Fatal and Nonfatal together as though there is no difference between a fatal and nonfatal event. The way it is presented, there were more of these events in the Placebo group than the Lipitor group. But there is no way to know from the way the data is presented if there were more all cause deaths in the placebo group or the Lipitor group. I should think that would be a critical bit of information. The last item in the long list is Nonvascular Death, where Lipitor numbers were greater than Placebo numbers.
