Animals used for the original sars vaccine in early 2000’s were injected with several types of vaccines ( 4 if I remember correctly). They all died regardless of the vax type. Vaccine attempts for Coronavirus and similar rapidly mutating viruses always ran into trouble and had to be canceled from the start or quickly recalled if approved.
